Dr. Fred Huang's special interest in sports injuries and arthroscopic knee surgery led him to pursue and achieve board certification in the subspecialty of Orthopedic Sports Medicine in 2010. He strives to provide care that is tailored to fit each patient's individual needs, and he believes that educating patients about their orthopedic conditions promotes success and patient satisfaction. In addition to focusing on arthroscopic and open knee surgery he also thoroughly enjoys caring for patients in need of knee and/or hip replacement surgery.
Dr. Huang was a Clinical Instructor in the University of Washington Department of Orthopaedic Surgery and Sports Medicine, and taught orthopedic residents at the Seattle VA Hospital from 2001-2019.
Dr. Huang enjoys spending his time away from orthopedics with his wife and three children, and is an avid Florida Gator sports fan.
