2020 Top Doctor.

Sean Haloman, M.D. is a fellowship-trained orthopedic specialist in hip preservation, sports medicine, and arthroscopic/minimally-invasive surgery of the shoulder, hip, elbow, and knee. In addition to healing hip pain, he also performs surgery for general orthopedic conditions and trauma.

Dr. Haloman earned his medical degree from the University of California San Diego School of Medicine where he was the recipient of the Merck Award for Outstanding Academic Accomplishments. He then went on to complete his residency in Orthopedic Surgery at the University of Washington, where he received the Victor Frankel Research Award. Dr. Haloman completed a sports medicine and arthroscopic surgery fellowship at the Southern California Orthopedic Institute, learning advanced arthroscopic techniques for the treatment of the hip, shoulder, elbow, knee and ankle. Most recently, Dr. Haloman traveled to Switzerland to complete an additional fellowship in hip preservation with world-renowned experts and the originators of the field.

As an orthopedic doctor, Dr. Haloman understands the impact and devastation that injuries and pain have on all aspects of life, so he works with his patients to create evidence-based treatment plans that suit the goals and needs of each patient. He strives to ensure that his patients not only return to their previous performance or activity level, but are also less likely to be reinjured.

In his free time, Dr. Haloman can be found exploring Seattle and the Pacific Northwest with his wife and children, traveling, playing sports, exercising, reading, and listening to podcasts.
